NET CONTROL


CQ, CQ, CQ, This is the Friendship Radio Club Net over the ____________Repeater.

Good Evening , this is ____________________ ,Your Net Control Station for this evening.

My name is _______________________ , and I am located in Ocala, Florida (area of county).

This net meets every Monday evening at 4:00 pm Eastern Time to relay announcements, exchange ideas and comments, and to list equipment for sale, trade or want. Discussion of any amateur related topic is encouraged.

All licensed Amateur Radio Operators are welcome. You need not be a member of the club to participate.

At this time, we welcome any check-ins and announcements from the club officers or board members ONLY.

Are there any other announcements of general interest to the net. Please give your call sign now pause, any others? Recognize each caller, then call for his/her announcement.
Be sure to ID the net at least every 10 minutes. Example:
This is _________________ over the _________ repeater, Net Control for the Friendship Radio Club Net.

We will now begin regular check-ins. For proper spacing, please wait for the courtesy beep and give your suffix only, slowly and clearly.

Once you have been recognized, please come back with your full call sign. You are also asked to let the NCS know if you have any comments or questions. If so, you will be called upon to state your comment at the end of the check -ins. Also, please indicate upon checking in if you wish to participate in the trader’s portion of the net.

1.Recognize each check-in, then go back and call each suffix, asking that they give their complete call, name, location and any comments they might have for the net.

NOTE: If no one has indicated a wish to list items for sale, trade or want on the traders portion, move on.

The net is now open for the traders portion, All equipment must be in your possession, and must be amateur related. Any station wishing to list equipment for sale, trade or want is requested to provide the asking price and the telephone number to call for further information.

Discussion of price utilizing the repeater is not permitted. Any station wishing to list equipment for sale, trade or want, please give your ca ll sign and your first name now. Are there any comments, questions or discussions? If so, please come now.

At end of discussion section, close the net with the following information.

Any amateur operator interested in becoming a member of the Friendship Radio Club should contact Membership Chairman, _______________________Club meetings are held on the second Monday at 1:30 pm of each month, location, The Sherriff's Sub Station on Rt 200, Ocala, Florida.
No meeting is held in December.

2. Are there any stations located throughout the County who wish to check into the net? This is the final call.

Hearing no others, this net is now closed and the repeater is returned to normal use.
